What would you do if one event from your past threatened your entire future? What would the effect of revisiting that past event be? These are the questions explored in Lebanese-born Director Philippe Caland’s second feature Ripple Effect. Los Angeles fashion designer Amer Atrash (Caland) can’t seem find success in his business nor his marriage. Attributing his misfortune to bad karma from a long ago wrongdoing, he seeks out forgiveness with surprising results. With a stellar supporting cast of Forest Whitaker, Virginia Madsen and Minnie Driver (who were all Executive Producers of the film), Ripple Effect is the story of one man’s search for spiritual redemption and his quest to be at one with himself.
