Mature Audience only Starring Santa Cruz’s own Christa Martin in a stellar performance and newcomer Ashley Ann Michaels, TweeN intimately examines a mother and daughter on lockdown over a weekend. When Cecelia was a junior in high school, she found herself pregnant. The daughter of a conservative Congressman, and not sure of the father of the baby, Cecelia left home to raise her daughter on her own. Thirteen years later, Cecelia’s daughter, Mari, is now in danger of going down the same path. This weekend mother and daughter will confront the lies that have delicately kept their relationship from falling apart. Their forced communication will unearth some well-established lies always thought to be fact, yielding answers to the biggest mystery in their relationship. TweeN captures the complex relationship of a single mother and independent daughter with humor and sensitivity. In one weekend they will take comfort in the dysfunction that has kept their bond so strong.
